Hi! My name is Grace, the creator of Not Quite Grown! I'm so glad you're here decided to visit my blog. Feel free to read some of my latest posts and stay a while!

I am from Alabama and have lived here my whole life. I currently reside in Birmingham with my husband, Mason and we love being in this city because that's where we met! We have been married since May 2025 (fun fact - we got married on May 4th, aka Star Wars Day) and started dating way back in November 2019. He is my best friend and my biggest supporter. When I'm not applying to literal hundreds of jobs every day, I enjoy reading (Throne of Glass is my FAVORITE series ever), embroidery, and listening to true crime or paranormal podcasts.

I created Not Quite Grown because I'm *just a girl* in her 20s trying to figure out what I want out of life and how I should go about doing that, all while juggling friendships, finances, hobbies, mental health issues, etc. and just the struggles of post-grad life. I was pretty overwhelmed with all of this and I knew I wasn't alone in the struggle. It was a random Wednesday afternoon in August 2025 that I thought to myself, "Hey, you've been wanting to get back into writing for a long time, and since you don't have a job and therefore have all the time in the world, you should start a blog!" And I kind of just listened to that gut feeling that said I should do this. This blog is a safe space for all of you 20 somethings out there that are in the same boat as me and just need to know that they're not alone. So, here we are! Thank you for being here. Your support means the world to me. Let's figure out the chaos of adulthood together. :)
